Used in steel-making for deoxidation and degassing of steel as an alloying element; to make electric welding electrodes; to make stainless and high-temperature steels. Titanium adds carbon to form titanium carbide which improves weldability and corrosion resistance.
Titanium treated steels have better mechanical properties.

Ferrotitanium is supplied in lumps of up to 100 mm. The amount of
fines passing through the siere with mesh dimentions 5x5 mm. Can't
exceed 10% of the tobal batch mass.The amount of oversize products
can't exceed 10% of the tobal batsh mass.
