Complex Modifiers
To Specification TY 14-5-134-86
Used to make iron castings with globular or vermicular graphite.
The addition of the modifier to hot iron eliminates the
pyroeffect and produces cast iron without structurally free cement.

At request the modifier can be made:
- with aluminium contents of up to 2.5% by mass;
- without rare-earth metals;
- with calcium contents of up to 4% by mass.
Supplied in lumps of up to 150 mm, packed in steel drums.
Density 3,2-4,1 g/cm3.
melting point 1200-1300°C.
