About The Company
The special feature of Kluchevsky Ferroalloys Plant is the production, chiefly by the aluminothermic method, of the group of "exotic" low-mass and small-batch ferroalloys and master alloys used to melt alloyed special steels and alloys.
At present the company is the only manufacturer in Russia and former Soviet Union states of the range (over 30 names) of unique ferroalloys and master alloys produced by reduction of metals from their oxygen and other compounds. They are: aluminothermic chromium metal, high carbon ferrochrome, low carbon ferrochrome, ferroniobium, ferrotitanium, ferrotungsten, silicocalcium, silicocalcium with active additives (vanadium, zirconium, titanium, aluminium), silicovanadium, ferrosilicozirconium, magnesium containing modifier, master alloys with rare-earth metals, niobium and nickel based master alloys, slag products, etc.).
The company's products are used in metallurgy for alloying, deoxidation and degassing of steels and alloys, in the manufacture of welding materials and electrodes, stainless and high-temperature steels, and for modifying cast iron. Slag products are used to manufacture cements and to melt synthetic slags required to refine steels. The company's products are in demand in the world market. Since the start of our cooperation with foreign partners we have not received any complaints about product quality. The development department makes it possible to develop new ferroalloys and master alloys in accordance with customer requirements.
